Should I get a new wireless router for online gaming(Nintendo Wii)?

You could try a wired connection with a LAN adapter, but that might not do anything. Perhaps it's your connection, not your router. I don't think anything hardware-wise would change the problem, since you'd still be using the same internet connection.
