Question about restraining order/ault and battery?

During a sunday school cl a teacher grabbed me by the shoulder/neck and threw me, grabbed me again and threw me, then slammed a door in my face. This action was unprovoked and I did not retaliate. They were also witnesses. I was wondering if I could file a restraining order, and if I could press charges for ault and battery.
