How do i load a pioneer 12 disc changer i found in the trunk of my used car purchase?

It is a box looking magazine loader, with 12 slots but the slots are too small for disc to go in.. i am confused and ended up scratching my Sade CD not happy... so im using a piece of crap cd, but i still cant figure it out, do the slots come out?? helppp!!!
