Is it better get a Culinary Arts Degree from a Community College or and actual Culinary Arts School?

I'm trying to get myself into Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. My father thinks I should just got my local Community College for my degree and the go to the Culinary Arts school for a certificate. I want to go to the actual cooking school because I feel like I wouldn't a glance if I went to the community college. Anybody when who went to a actual cooking school, how well did you do on find a job? Anybody who went to a community college for a Culinary Arts degree, how well did you do on finding a job?
